HOW TO GET HARD THINGS DONE – & NOT QUIT
Ever felt resistance doing anything hard?
I used to be very overweight as a very young kid. My mother was from the school of thought that a well-fed child was a healthy child!!
So when my Dad asked me if I wanted a bike & I said no, he couldn’t get his head around it & started to give me some real grief.
I did want a bike, but I didn’t want a bike. Because I instinctively knew how hard it would be for a kid my size to learn.
I eventually pushed past that fear & learnt.
But such self-limiting beliefs – sometimes running on a loop in our subconscious – often shoulder charge us away from things we can actually do, & trip us up as we reach for things we actually want.
Everything worthwhile we want is usually on the other side of hard things.
So if you want to get out of your own way & get some hard things done, do join my ’WE ARE GIANT’ Clubhouse today.
You’ll get lots of tips, insights & wisdom from me & my good friend Glo Atanmo. And you’ll be in a better position to say yes to hard things.
Afterwards, do circle back here & let me know what stood out for you, & maybe ask any questions you didn’t get a chance to live.
Details are in the comments below. Do say you’ll come & I’ll see you shortly…

Hi Rob, I think it’s easy to let things that you’re not as confident in limit you if you’re not being proactive in unlearning certain thoughts- definitely something I’m working on!

Too right, Ella. It’s why I have coaches, accountability partners & am in mentoring groups. As an independent creative, I’ve spent so much of my career processing my thoughts in silent solitude, I never discovered the benefits of doing it out loud in company, & gleaning the benefits of different perspectives & insights…

I run a weekly conversation on the social audio app Clubhouse every Thursday, 8pm UK time (3pm EST) where I talk about how we can be more GIANT when facing tough times.
To be more GIANT (to be bigger inside than life is outside) takes resilience – the promise of the human spirit to be able to face down change, challenge & complexity & still move forward faithfully & optimistically.
And GIANT exists to help you make good on that promise by helping you to harness some key emotional intelligence & mental resilience insights.
