Following on from my post before Christmas, we are now ready to schedule our focus group for Memory Lane Games, a startup focused on using memory games to help tackle dementia.
They are keen to chat with a diverse group of experts to discuss things like:
– How to measure impact?
– Possible ESG funds out there who might be interested?
– Cool marketing/ partnership ideas?
– Ideas for research/ white papers?
– Key people to chat with for advice?
If interested please give your availability on this Doodle: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/BeX5YMWa
Many thanks 🙏
Ben

I was pressing buttons and this post came up. Is it too late to get involved? I am an accredited Society Of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) that the Solicitors for the Elderly refer to. My expertise lies in the appropriate timing of financial planning, cash flow modelling to assist clients and their families make the right decisions taking into account the finances. As you can imagine loss of memory and money can be devasting. I am also a Dementia Friend Champion with the Alzheimer’s Society. More poignantly a close member of my family is living with the onset of dementia and memory loss.

Hi Jenny,
We already held the focus group – sorry. That said, Memory Lane Games remain a client and love our community. Have you played the game/ You can get it from the app store. I’d love to know what you think of it.
Best Wishes,
Ben

Ben Legg I downloaded the app and used it with my relative. We had fun and I have shared it with others in her family.
Due to sight problems and the loss of ability to use technology I controlled the game from my mobile.
As immigrants the UK places aren’t as recognised but enough other categories to play.
I see the app bridging the age divide with tech savy grandchildren being able to play with grandparents.
