Hello TPC!… just joined so posting an intro.

I’m a UK veteran- turned security risk management consultant- turned technology founder and product strategist, focused on safety and security.

At risk of repeating myself (ie, my profile) I have combined over fifteen years’ post-military experience in multinational, multi-agency, high threat security environments in Europe and the Middle East, with digital business strategy, to develop Marshal (https://marshalhub.com/), a SaaS platform providing hyper-focused Virtual Expos for the Security market.

The application enables stakeholders to better navigate the many diverse risk management options available, relevant to their area(s) of operation, in order to make faster, more informed procurement decisions – from niche Resources, to Training, and Events, to Publications and Recruitment – that ultimately protect lives and safeguard assets.

My ambition is for Marshal to be the foremost marketing platform for Safety, Security & Risk Management capability, leveraging technology in a way that delivers increasing value to our users by being ”responsive to the operating environment”: meaning we can scale and cross-pollinate expertise across established markets (ie, Oil and Gas, FS/HNW / Critical Infrastructure), to emerging scenarios (ie Ukraine Conflict and other crises) and global events (such as FIFA World Cup), in a way that makes exhibiting, sourcing, screening and procurement highly scalable, and significantly more efficient, timely, and accessible [than largely irrelevant social media posts, or expensive physical tradeshows and one dimensional magazines]. As such I’m always looking to engage with niche expertise, products and services across this otherwise broad, fragmented, and increasingly regulated sector.

Moreover, having bootstrapped the platform and begun my Sales and Marketing operations, I am starting to believe two things may be useful. The first is a ”co-founder” (I am solo / non-technical) – I have ideas about what profile that might be, but I might be wrong! – and the second is seed funding. I’m keen to start having conversations along these lines, if either or both are of interest to anyone.

    Many thanks for your time.

    Andy
