Velos Labs is an early stage startup that performs research and development & creates novel autonomous driving technology meant for Military and Utility use cases. We emphasize human-machine teaming for both on and off road mobility.on Autonomous Driving for off-road applications. Currently, we are working on a prototype kit for autonomous operation of military vehicles.

Founder & CEO

Dr. Abdelaal is a Marine Veteran, practitioner and researcher of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with experience on multiple Department of Defense (DoD) projects and programs. He has served as Principal Investigator for multiple Small Business Innovation Researches (SBIR’s), conducted research at NASA, Georgia Institute of Technology and industry. He has trained under the most respected experts in Engineering, Optimization, Analytics, and Machine Learning. With his broad military experience, he is well equipped to interpret Military customer requirements and maintain an accurate perception of the Voice of the Customer.
