TPC Friends,

I’m going to start my once a week or once every two weeks posting on LinkedIn re: storytelling. Where have you found the most success?

a) Link out to a blog or personal site

b) Share an article with commentary up top

c) Post directly to LinkedIn

d) Anything else I’m missing?

Wondering what’s best algorithmically and for overall awareness. I really appreciate this group!

  Hi Mitch. I find I get as much LinkedIn love whether I post directly on LinkedIn (i.e. an article) or do a LinkedIn post with a link to elsewhere. Therefore I always do posts rather than articles these days. For the link I think to your own website is the best as that gives you SEO traffic, but Medium is good for the odd article as it is a fresh audience, and can also link to your own site for SEO.

    You should also do the odd post that doesn’t have a link in it at all, but just stimulates discussion on LinkedIn itself
