Happy New Year Community! I’m going to kick us off with something heavy… but I wondered over Christmas how many portfolio careerists were planning pension or financial future as part of their forecasting and planning?

We didn’t cover this in detail during Catapult but we did talk about building a sustainable financial future e.g. taking equity / stock options as payment, creating a buffer to help protect you in case of getting sick, what to do with profit etc.

Did you know that if you are self-employed and pay into a pension, the Government will add 25% contribution on top? There are various apps like Penfold or NEST that are a good place to find out more.
