Experiences
Launched Australian subsidiary of Irish energy tech company, VIOTAS
Through May-Dec 2020, over covid lockdown I successfully set up VIOTAS Australia.
This was done completely remote and involved obtaining Government authorization to connect to sensitive infrastructure (the power grid), hiring a core operating team, signing 4 customers and overseeing 1st deployment.
Pioneer in building out the signature piece of Saudi's Vision 2030
Since Jan 2022, I have been based in Saudi Arabia, part of the pioneer team planning and building NEOM, the futuristic new city that serves as the key plank of Saudi's transformation program, Vision 2030.
Primary role is to develop functional requirements for a subset of the energy tech stack.
Assisting prime technological university enhance their innovation lab
I am currently assisting Electrical Engineering department at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST), the principal technological university in Saudi Arabia enhance their Smart Grid Lab as part of their wider innovation ecosystem.
This involves attracting international projects.
