I am running a Go To Market workshop (via Zoom) with 15-20 founders of Seed companies (Envestors portfolio companies) next Wednesday 1-2pm UK time.
If you are a Go To Market expert, are available at that time and have a suitable workshop deck, you are welcome to join me as a co-presenter. This could be good exposure to potential clients. If not, I will polish off an old deck and do it solo.

posted in the group Based in NY
For those based in New York, I’ll be in NYC – albeit briefly – on Tue 30 & Wed 31 May (after celebrating Memorial Day on the Jersey Shore over the weekend
)
It would be great to see some TPC faces while there – maybe an early(ish) breakfast on Wed 31 May? I’m staying downtown in FiDi, so possibly somewhere near Fulton St Subway (am open to suggestions).
Let me know if you can make it and I’ll send a calendar invite.

I might be? We’re trying to decide on whether we’re visiting family downstate that weekend, and if so, would definitely be up for extending the trip a bit.

You can count me as tentative. I may have a client workshop that morning, if not I am in.

When you’re a cash-strapped startup or scaleup, there is always more to do than people to do it. People are expensive, and it takes time to find great talent. So how do you get as much done as possible,...

A lot of our members worry that their knowledge will ’go stale’ in a portfolio career. This is up to you. In a portfolio career, we work with multiple clients, giving us more opportunities to learn. We also have the flexibility to create new insights.
Part of my portfolio career is advising investors on trends and forecasts for digital advertising and social media. To add to this knowledge, I have just researched and written this article, on Meta’s (Facebook’s) revenue opportunities in the Metaverse: https://www.digitalpeople.online/post/mark-zuckerberg-metaverse-gamble-genius-or-crazy
Thanks to James Shrager for your support on this

It’s a really good article. I think it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up to speed on everything going on in the world as we’re deluged with ’stuff’ so being able to generate a point of view is a good way of thinking about how a profession or market is changing.

Goes back to your comment today about timing, even if they’re not exactly a start-up…
