Paid tech mentoring opportunity. Ben Furfie, the tech lead at The Webinar Vet (https://www.thewebinarvet.com/) is looking for a mentor to help him develop the tech roadmap, build his team, make key tech decisions such as which technology to use and make-vs-buy.
The company also owns Simply Vets, a locum jobs site, and Wikivet, the veterinary equivalent of Wikipedia. I sit on the board.
If interested, please let me know.

David Ingram, Stephen Morris, Stuart Prestedge, Chris Minas, Ton Dobbe might be interested in this tech mentoring opportunity

Thx for thinking about me. If they are really looking for an expert on the technical side then I am not the right person. If they look for someone to mentor them on making these decisions with an eye on the business side (growth, differentiation, acceleration,…) then I am 100% in.
Ton

Thanks Ton – he already gets plenty of business advice, so in this case he does need a more technical mentor

Calling all tech leaders. A training company I am working with (100,000 visitors per month) has some large corporate clients, who insist on certain levels of compliance. Their tech lead has proposed the costs shown here, but we would like a second opinion, as these seem excessive.
Any suggestions?

Happy to provide input I have paid for all of these types of services in the recent past. How would you like me to support?
-
I have reviewed the table and the costs are about right, however, I am not sure about what attributes the Pen testing cost contains. as an average £10K is a good figure. Hope this helps
-
I’d ask for a bit more breakdown on the QA figure but nothing looks outrageous.
