Hi all
I’m looking for a brilliant logo! I’ve looked at basic designs available on Google (of which there are plenty) but I’d like to talk to someone who knows what they’re doing on this front. Does anyone know anyone who would be happy to have an initial chat? Thought I’d try TPC first before Upwork etc.
Thank you!

If you want modern Saira then an old colleague Matteo can do something but he will really do a design process with you and present you with options… say that you came from me http://matteobisato.design/

I found this article while researching effective Call to action examples for my websites… perhaps others here will find this useful too! Enjoy.

Hi Steven and thank you for posting here,
This sounds like good a good idea and exposure to other talented professionals is really what TPC is all about. I have found the chats and meetings with TPC staff and other members really helpful and missed them when our course finished. As with this collective, this forum is ‘in beta’ so there aren’t any wrong directions to take this, more just to throw things up and see what sticks.
definitely keep posting your ideas !

I am SO close to publishing my site!
But finding one thing very annoying with Squarespace, maybe someone here had the same issue and knows how to direct me?
I am trying to align my images horizontally and vertically in the middle when using a card design. I hate how large everything appears on Squarespace, so I inserted some code to help me with this (MY FIRST EVER ’CODING’
lol if you can call it that! ). However, i am still falling at one bit, which is to align my image in the centre horizontally (i managed to do it vertically). Any coding wizards on here that would lend a helping hand please?

I’m not a Squarespace user, but there may be a quirk to the design CSS which is causing the issue. There’s some helpful code to try in this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10989238/center-image-horizontally-within-a-div
Or I’d be happy to jump on a Zoom to take a look (can’t make any promises I’ll be able to fix it but always happy to try!)
Jesus Iniesta any thoughts?

If you are still stuck on this Silvia, I would post it and a snag list of things you want sorting to Upwork and find yourself a Squarespace whizz to have on hand.

Top of my list are:
Clockify
+ easy to use
+ capturing my time on different projects
+ can capture whether work is billable or not
+ Google extension
– (none so far)
Calendly
+ fairly easy to set up
+ a real time saver when it comes to scheduling appointments (I even use it with friends/family since they are all over the place!)
+ great at handling appointments across different timezones
+ integrates with multiple calendars
+ integrates with Zoom and other platforms
+ can take payments for appointments
– Advanced scheduling settings are not intuitively located but worth setting up (e.g. event buffers, increments etc.)
Email Tracker
+ great when doing bizdev – captures whether recipients opened emails you’ve sent
+ Google extension
+ basic version is free
– not 100% accurate
LastPass
+ secure password storage
+ works across multiple devices
+ can share password securely with another per…

I love this idea Regina Dundelova!

Useful landing page testing sites:
Hotjar – analyses website use, providing feedback through tools such as heatmaps, session recordings, and surveys. It works with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to offer an insight into how people are navigating websites, and how their customer experience can be improved.
-
UsabilityHub – is good for testing landing pages
You pay people to go check out your website and comment on it
-
Unbounce – You can create and optimize dedicated landing pages that prompt your visitors with one focused goal instead of leaving them to wander a site full of distractions.

I would be a mess without Last Pass! I also love http://e.ggtimer.com/ for time boxing tasks and doing the Pomodoro technique
