*Monday reminder for all Catapult graduates!*

Join us for your catch-up call this afternoon. Never been before? We’re now seven cohorts strong! This makes the catch-up an excellent opportunity for networking as well as bringing your thoughts, ideas and challenges to the table.
You don’t need to come with questions or thoughts prepared for these sessions. Previously we’ve found that hearing others talk through their plans can often spark an idea for your own portfolio career, and it’s always nice to see what others have been up to. This session is also a great place to set accountability for your goals.
Looking forward to seeing you at 4pm UK time!
The reminder email will go out with the link an hour before but let Claire Moss know if you have any problems joining.

My ”day job” had me swamped with work and the new wave of the pandemic also halted my dream project a bit as it involves travel. Heading into family vacation tomorrow and plan to use the time to reflect and recharge to give it another push come september.

Hi Julia Poncar– keeping my fingers crossed that your dream project can start up again soon
Hope you have a lovely holiday recharge!

Hi Nika Talbot, I agree that taking things one day at a time is definitely the best approach. I would also love to find a co-working space, as it can get a bit tedious being in the same place all the time!

Is machine learning the new creativity? I certainly hope not…
Here’s the app I brought up on the catchup call Duncan Dalzel-Job, Caoimhe Kelly, Pete Domican, Ben Legg, Lexi Radcliffe-Hart

Very interesting to think about but also kind of scary- I hope not too!

Historically, I’ve been more of a Meccano person. More seriously, the Brickit Lego app seems like fun and harks back to the days when all a child needed was a pile of Lego bricks and some imagination. So yes Conrad Young, point taken on human vs machine creativity or lack thereof.

This has just raised the question of creativity, fun and imagination up in our household – although my wife is very much up for following the instructions when it comes to the Technic builds!

Thank you for sharing Conrad Young . Like all technology it has its benefits if used in the right way. I could definitely have done with an android version coming out a month ago for deciphering the mountain of donated Lego that has absorbed hours of recent evenings and weekends.

Thank you so much Caoimhe Kelly for taking the time to review the site. Found the feedback super helpful ! Wanted to reply to the message propely and then got delayed in reverting.
Thanks for letting me know that one of the pages is not opening. Also, got a better understandimg on whats working and not working. Planning to align the last 3 pages to the first 2 page format. So, thanks for that tip as well! 🙂

💚❤️ One day at a time and some time off in August. Been asked to do a new kind of project I’m not hugely experienced in – and maybe a bigger job than I can manage, so let’s see. Confidence and a little bit of winging it!! I am also trying to get a co-working community together locally as fed up with my four walls, much as I enjoy my own company, it’s hard work working solo sometimes.
