Many thanks Lexi – it is so great to be involved with the Portfolio Collection (and see it go from strength to strength)

Just a quick message – thank you for the invite to your launch. It was so wonderful to hear your story and learn more about the journey towards the book’s creation. My copy is next to me and I’ll be diving in to learn and hopefully put some things into practice for TPC!

There are some truly amazing people in there – even in the editing stages, I was still going ”gosh I had forgotten that – wow” with some of them. I hope you manage to meet any of them or hear the q and a so you can put faces to stories – there were a lot of camera-shy ones hiding out there!
-
I’ll certainly be looking to connect with them as I go through the book!

*Calling all previous Catapult graduates!*
At 4pm today, we’re back with our weekly catch-up sessions! You’ll have seen an email from Claire Moss this afternoon, and Lexi Radcliffe-Hart has added you to our new Catapult Graduate Community Group – the link to join us is there, on your email, and your calendar invite (same as before)
If you haven’t joined us for one of these sessions before, this catch-up allows you to talk through your ideas and listen to feedback from other Catapult graduates and the TPC team – all of whom are at varying stages of their portfolio career journey.
You don’t need to come with questions or thoughts prepared for these sessions. Previously we’ve found that hearing others talk through their plans can often spark an idea for your own portfolio career, and it’s always nice to see what others have been up to. This session is also a great place to set accountability for your goals.
Looking forward to seeing you…

I’ve been trying to remind myself that it’s not possible to do everything all at once and that it doesn’t have to be perfect, all the time. (Or any of the time
) Pleased to see the weekly catch ups back in the diary for 2021, I’ve got the first module of a coaching course today so won’t be around for this one but looking forward to joining future ones. S

Thanks @jesus. I am still not sure I fully understand the implications, and have heard from several members that they don’t either. Can anyone else help illuminate us? If not, maybe we should have a discussion with experts in the next few weeks

I did some looking into this. it only applies if you have ltd, not if you are set up as sole trader. I have been on one IR35 talk delivered by Iraj Idafar an accountant. the talk was fantastic and gave me good insight, talked about some of the myths, why it is hard to be outside IR35, what are some consequences, and he also gave great examples of what did and didnt stand in court. perhaps TPC could organise such a talk? maybe one of the members here has this knowledge, alternatively I can enquir…
