Thought i’d drop this in here in case there are any NFT enthusiasts within the community.
My agency has just launched an NFT Art collection and creative laboratory. Our collection fuses together classic digital art with historical aesthetics which aim to be educational and beautiful at the same time. We’re in the community building stage and our first sale is on Friday! Take a look here – https://www.generativealchemy.art/

A friend of mine does marketing for Scottish Rocket company Skyrora (https://www.skyrora.com/). They have their first launch in September and are looking for brand sponsors who want to place 30 second ad spots on the launch. Please message me if anyone here is interested/knows someone who might be!

Is machine learning the new creativity? I certainly hope not…
Here’s the app I brought up on the catchup call Duncan Dalzel-Job, Caoimhe Kelly, Pete Domican, Ben Legg, Lexi Radcliffe-Hart

Very interesting to think about but also kind of scary- I hope not too!

Historically, I’ve been more of a Meccano person. More seriously, the Brickit Lego app seems like fun and harks back to the days when all a child needed was a pile of Lego bricks and some imagination. So yes Conrad Young, point taken on human vs machine creativity or lack thereof.

This has just raised the question of creativity, fun and imagination up in our household – although my wife is very much up for following the instructions when it comes to the Technic builds!

Thank you for sharing Conrad Young . Like all technology it has its benefits if used in the right way. I could definitely have done with an android version coming out a month ago for deciphering the mountain of donated Lego that has absorbed hours of recent evenings and weekends.

Hi all, my agency has been commissioned to help produce a new
e-commerce podcast in partnership with feedly.com
Are there any e-commerce experts or marketing thought leaders within TPC who be interested in appearing as a guest? Ella Bernie perhaps you know who the most relevant people are?

I’m the Chair of the Levitt Group which is the group for Senior Marketers within the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I tend to focus on marketing strategy though. Do you have a brief or outline of what you’re going to be discussing? If so send it to me and I’ll see if I could add anything. If not, I can probably suggest some people you could talk to from my network.

Conrad Young posted in the group The Community
Fantastic fireside chat on personal branding last week from Alex Pitt, Adarsh Nalam, and Fiona Chorlton-Voong!
During the discussion it was mentioned that personal brands have actually been around for a long time, but less attention was paid to the concept.
Directly after the chat I came across the attached picture of footballer Michael Owen’s hilarious brand values when he was looking for a new club in 2009.
I guess personal branding has been around for ages…

He went to Manchester United in the end, not sure if they were ready for all the above haha…

Given his injury record ’fit and healthy’ was a bit of a stretch. It’s an interesting example though.
