    Hi everyone,

I’m looking to take on a VA to help out with both personal / family tasks, but also for my portfolio work. Does have any recommendations as to how to make this work well? I’m particularly struggling with working out what tasks from our personal life can be efficiently delegated, and how we would do that in practice.

    Thanks in advance!

    • I have used a VA before, for work only. Just like any resource that you employ, you need to discuss between you how each of you work and your expectations. If there are any major bugbears, or things that you or your VA are adverse to then its best to be upfront. This will be a close relationship so trust is paramount. I would also get them checked out CRB, DBS etc as you would any employee. Happy to have a chat if it would be of help.

    • we can assign the below mentioned personal tasks to a VA

      •organizing events

      •liaising with other family members,

      •paying bills

•managing online banking, social media accounts

      •overseeing any household staff,

      •present buying and

      •running errands

Assigning personal tasks are purely based on the trust we have towards the VA.
