Accountability buddy: Does anyone want to join an accountability group? Up to 4 people. One on one meetings twice a month via Zoom. 50 minutes. Topics: 1. What is the progress? 2. What are goals. 3. What are questions, doubts or anything where you need help on.
-
could you please reply with your email so that I could create a Gmail Invite. For me the best to day to reflect and without business meetings is Sunday. Could you do every second Sunday late afternoon?
-
Thanks Eike Post that’s so kind of you. I’m going to repost this to the Catapult Graduate Community group too following on from our call today!

Really nice initiative, Eike Post. Have you looked at any tools to help with accountability?

these apps are pretty full-on Jesus! StickK in particular, but they seem really effective.

This looks so interesting Eike Post – unfortunately it’s just reloading for me, rather than loading in full – would you have another link for it?
-
WHen I click on edit post it does not load. I tried it many times but then gave up and just posted a comment with the new link.

Stephanie Dotto posted in the group The Community
Hi everyone! I’m writing an article on the best productivity tools and I’d love to hear what people in the community find useful. Is there a particular app/tool you use to help you stay focused and get things done? I’m personally a big fan of Trello for keeping my tasks organised. Feel free to share anything that helps you stay focused/motivated/organised/inspired!

Sheetgo – for automating spreadsheet tasks
Gorgias.io – for emails
Calendly – scheduling
tools.guanxi.ai – for data cleanup (biased as this is a pet project)
Audible & Udemy – with 2x speed for fast mobile learning 🙂
Looking forward to seeing your list!

Currently playing with Notion.so – finding it amazing and baffling in equal measures
-
Nicola Twiston Davies recommended Focus Me which joins you up with others in an accountability hour where you work alongside one another for 50 mins to achieve your set goal/task. Sounds brilliant!
-
I’ve recently downloaded Daylio which is a habit/mood tracker, you can create folders of habits you want to create and then check off the ones you’ve achieved each day. I’ve started using it for work goals aswell and its been really useful!

I really like Forest – it’s an app that is the Pomodoro technique but you plant trees and it’s very satisfying. Then I have used Evernote and am playing around with Notion

*Calling all previous Catapult graduates!*
At 4pm today, we’re back with our weekly catch-up sessions! You’ll have seen an email from Claire Moss this afternoon, and Lexi Radcliffe-Hart has added you to our new Catapult Graduate Community Group – the link to join us is there, on your email, and your calendar invite (same as before)
If you haven’t joined us for one of these sessions before, this catch-up allows you to talk through your ideas and listen to feedback from other Catapult graduates and the TPC team – all of whom are at varying stages of their portfolio career journey.
You don’t need to come with questions or thoughts prepared for these sessions. Previously we’ve found that hearing others talk through their plans can often spark an idea for your own portfolio career, and it’s always nice to see what others have been up to. This session is also a great place to set accountability for your goals.
Looking forward to seeing you…

I’ve been trying to remind myself that it’s not possible to do everything all at once and that it doesn’t have to be perfect, all the time. (Or any of the time
) Pleased to see the weekly catch ups back in the diary for 2021, I’ve got the first module of a coaching course today so won’t be around for this one but looking forward to joining future ones. S

Happy Birthday Luke Rodwell. You haven’t changed since 1993

LOL thanks Ben Legg – is this a Boy Band album cover? I think that tree has now fallen over but nothing to do with us your honour!

Steady on Mike. Start letting yourself into my realms of fantasy and it’s a rocky road to the dark side. I can quite understand why you would think that was Fleming. He does have a reputation for hanging around with young men in tight shorts, usually it involves a round ball. Between you and me and the four walls of TPC, I have been rear ended by him on many occasions; my back is still paying the price. Has to be said, Steve does carry the ’hands on hips’ look well. Not sure th…

I think Steve left his honour in the Marlborough House sports hall about 10 years ago!

It is indeed me on the far right. Didn’t quite have Luke Rodwell’s six pack back then ….
