It was great to see so many of you at yesterday’s Let’s Talk event 🌟
I took some notes of what we discussed about ’Getting Your Brand Out There’ for those that wanted to attend but couldn’t make it – you’re welcome to ask questions or share your opinions in the comments below!
💡 Referral networking – personal branding is key to getting referrals from other people – it’s what makes you stand out and what makes people remember you over the hundreds of other people they meet.
💡 The importance of making sure your personal mission and personal values align with the mission and value of your company.
💡 LinkedIn – how to use LinkedIn to build your brand, become a thought leader, as well was what to write and the tone of voice you use when writing.

📢 Poll of the week 📢
Here at TPC as some of you may know, we love to talk about branding! Branding is so important for portfolio professionals but is something that can be tricky to get right.
In tomorrow’s Let’s Talk our COO and the guru behind TPC’s brand Fiona (Fiona Chorlton-Voong) will be leading a discussion on ‘Getting Your Brand Out There’ – giving you tips and tricks and asking you to share some of your wisdom 🙌
From sharing your story and telling your why, to creating social media posts and content, and even thought leadership we’ll leave no stone unturned!
So, we want to know – are you happy with your brand? React to this post with your answer and leave us your thoughts in the comments 🌟
👍 Yes, mine really helps me tell my story!
❤️ It’s taken a while but it’s getting there
😂 I don’t think I really have a brand
💡 Help – I have no idea where to start!

Really looking forward to leading this session with Fiona Chorlton-Voong and getting some great tips from her and the community!

Special bonus, I’ll be joined by my fabulous Branding partner in crime Alex Pitt to chat all things Brand related 📢
-
Following on from our Pathfinder call, I think this might be a good place to continue the BD/branding conversations as we’ll be discussing the best channels to build your brand, differentiating between personal and professional brands, sharing your authentic self in your branding – and of course, so much more!
Tagging Pete Domican Eike Post Duncan Dalzel-Job Tracey Rob Perera Deepshikha Yadav Ciaran Walsh Monsuru Sodeeq Pavitter Mainn in case it’s of interest!

Can’t make it tomorrow but hopefully there’s a recording. I think the real thought challenge for me is that I can do a lot of disparate things is whether/how to tie that together or split it up and market it separately.
-
There won’t be a recording, but we will be taking notes to share with the community afterwards so I’ll make sure to tag you when they go out. Well keep that challenge in mind for when we’re asking questions too!
