I cannot wait to bring this into the discussion tomorrow! Thank you for sharing so honestly.

Thanks for the tag Ella Bernie I will be there on the 26th!
I listened to this during an afternoon walk down the seafront on Audible.
It’s a short read, In a sense I’m still processing it. I think for me it’s a reminder of other principals and lessons, as opposed to anything ground breaking.
I enjoyed it, but found it (at least on first listen) more entertaining than actionable.

Love that you brought the the book to the seafront with you, and that you found some entertainment and some reminders. Looking forward to discussing how you’ve been processing the reminders over the past week.

A highlight for me was collaborating with the incredible Alex Pitt and creating our Branding Masterclass! One of the most fulfilling courses I have co-designed!

2021 has been an incredible journey of stepping outside of my comfort zone and continuously rejecting the safety net of the 9 to 5 job, the latter has taken more willpower than I have ever been required to summon! Grateful for the introduction to the TPC community – you all continue to inspire, encourage this transition and looking forward to being more involved in 2022 and build on these budding relationships and friendships! (updates in coming weeks!)

I’d second this! I absolutely love our masterclass – really looking forward to the next one 🖤🎉👏🏻

Back in the day I was actually a corporate trainer and most of the courses were dry and fairly predictable. I think my most fulfilling courses may be the ones to come, as I am seriously thinking about this in 2022. To answer your question, I did co-design and deliver an interviewing skills workshop (all interviews not just recruitment) for senior mangers (who of course know it all?!!), which was very tricky at the beginning when we introduced the element of video and plenary feedback from video.…

Hi Adarsh, I’m afraid I haven’t heard of these two so unfortunately can’t help with that – happy to share who I trained with who I wholeheartedly recommend if that would be helpful

Hey Rebecca, thank you for replying. Yes, please. That’d be great.

Sorry for delay Adarsh, I’m not very good at accessing these messages! I trained with Barefoot who I wholeheartedly recommend. Henley Postgrad course is also very good, and I also looked at AoEC – they are all slightly different. Happy to chat through further if that would help

Like Rebecca, I haven’t heard of the ones you mentioned Adarsh Nalam. There are so many institutions though, as long as they have been accredited by the ICF – you should be fine. I trained through Goleman EI (now Beyond EI) as I specialised in Emotional Intelligence and I would recommend them if that’s the path you wanted to go down.

Booked and I’ve read it twice! While I recognise so much of myself in there, I’m struggling to really get hold of any concrete steps. to improve – maybe this is a form of self-sabotage in itself? Hoping that the discussion might help.
