Hi all, a bit off topic, but for those of us based in London, I’m organising a few days volunteering planting trees and cleaning up and building dead hedges at my woodland Walk Wood, near Little Chalfont.
Great way to be outdoors and share some time in nature, help a lovely piece of countryside thrive and enjoy a good camp fire.
We’ll be using Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker’s #Goodsted’s platform :

Thank you Selin.
Please don’t hesitate to ping me if interested, we will have other dates on February and March.
Unfortunately, this activity is not suitable for children.
And thank you in advance!

I’m OK but you’re probably not going to get 6 hours out of me yet!

Don’t worry! You should come and visit once the weather gets warmer. The most important is that you feel well again 🙂

Hi Lara, good to see I am not the only one interested in the trees, we managed to plant a new hedge row at the back of a local secondary school it was amazing how many people offered to help. I believe that the woodland trust supplied the saplings and small canes and tree wraps. (Not sure why they insist on using the extra bits) bit I think about 100 new sapling were planted back in March. 23.

It was great to see so many of you at the joint community networking with Goodsted on Friday. For the angel investors in the community, Goodsted are also doing a fundraise of their own at the moment.
Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker started Goodsted with the mission to build the most accessible platform for individuals and organisations to collaborate on social and environmental goals. Her aim is to engage as many people as possible to create a better world.
She’s raising up to £400k bridge funding. You can see more information in this summary: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qzc_FeQKe6M1KFx2Eb20qPucfUolQX2n/view
They are raising through an Advanced Subscription Agreement on Seedlegals. If you or any angel investor you know may be interested, please let Selin know.

I have a couple of social enterprise conversations happening right now so will see if there is some synergy. Great presentation but can you elaborate how the revenue model is constructed – ie is it based on subscriptions, fees or maybe some other type of transaction?

Ella Bernie posted in the group The Sustainability and ESG Collective
Hi everyone!
As you may know we recently announced our partnership with Goodsted, a digital platform that helps employees and individuals progress social and environmental goals
Because of this, we decided to create a group on our platform, to encourage collaborations and volunteering with companies and charities passionate about positive social impact, sustainability and ESG.
If you have any questions about how to get involved with these sorts of companies, or want to learn more about the benefits of volunteering your skills feel free to post any questions in this group
Selin (Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker) the Founder of Goodsted wrote this article for us a while ago about the benefits of volunteering: http://staging.the-portfolio-collective.com/insights/volunteering-is-good-for-your-portfolio-career/ – check it out!
