I am SO close to publishing my site!
But finding one thing very annoying with Squarespace, maybe someone here had the same issue and knows how to direct me?
I am trying to align my images horizontally and vertically in the middle when using a card design. I hate how large everything appears on Squarespace, so I inserted some code to help me with this (MY FIRST EVER ’CODING’
lol if you can call it that! ). However, i am still falling at one bit, which is to align my image in the centre horizontally (i managed to do it vertically). Any coding wizards on here that would lend a helping hand please?

If you are still stuck on this Silvia, I would post it and a snag list of things you want sorting to Upwork and find yourself a Squarespace whizz to have on hand.

Hello Community!
Could you please help me?
Do you have any quick thoughts on ’Vetprofic’ as my new brand name? 🙂
I initially came up with name: Improvet , but it’s already being used. Then thought ImproVetMed (sounds likes improvement) but didn’t feel it rolls off the tongue well. I went through so many ideas already… dont really want to end up with ’SJ Consulting’. ’Profik’ actually is a slang for ’professional’ in Slovak (where im from). So I came to Vetprofik but then changed the k to c as thought it looked better…
Thanks a million for your thoughts :))
(i am all about improving the veterinary and animal health industry)

Hey, Silvia! I’d say that, although there is nothing wrong with Vetprofic, it personally didn’t catch my eye – probably because it’s not a word that I recognise, neither I can see a clear relation with other related terms I might be familiar with. Some of the things that came to my mind were vet-profit and vet-prolific.
However, you (and your industry) have the incredible luck of having your own top-level domain: .VET – which was released in late 2014 and is wide…

Hi Jesus, I think I replied to Ben with a reply meant for you both. Thank you for your reply! Yes I have use .vet before for another site 😉 i was thinking of using… will play with the idea more. newest one is innoveting.com

Hi Silvia,
Vetprofic doesn’t jump out at me as meaning anything other than it is vet-related. The profic means nothing to me. That said, brand names with little meaning that you can shape can be a good thing, so this can definitely work. If you want something that resonates better, what about something like FutureVet or DigiVet? Also, as Steve & Jesus suggest, the URL endings available are very diverse, allowing variants like .vet, .club, .house, .abc, .io

Thank you so much Ben and Jesus for your thorough feedback! That all makes sense, I see how the word doesn’t signify much to you. I did some research and apparently made up brand names are more successful in a number of ways, but I suppose that’s with the big brands… In the meantime I thought of another one that might mean a bit more: InnoVeting…. sounding like innovating the vet space. Better? 🙂

To follow on from out recent Branding module, i thought i share a site i found for logos: https://www.logoground.com What i really like about this one is that you can connect with the logo designer and have them adapt the logo however you want for no extra charge. A friend of mine recently found a style she absolutely loved, and asked the designer to change the rhino picture into a dog and a cat, and sent him a specific colour palette she wanted, etc, and she has a logo in all the formats within 2days. I know some are a bit pricey, but even if just for inspiration and ideas, i thought i share this with my new community here 😀 Enjoy

I’m not a Squarespace user, but there may be a quirk to the design CSS which is causing the issue. There’s some helpful code to try in this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10989238/center-image-horizontally-within-a-div
Or I’d be happy to jump on a Zoom to take a look (can’t make any promises I’ll be able to fix it but always happy to try!)
Jesus Iniesta any thoughts?
