I’ve started to listen to a lot more podcasts again, and I finally got to listen to Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead series last week. The episode with Simon Sinek is such a stand out for me – so I thought I’d share it here!

If anyone listens to this, let me know. I’ve of course now ordered more of Simon’s books because of this!
Thanks @jane.o.sullivan-uk for the inspiration to swap music for podcasts!

Just a quick message – thank you for the invite to your launch. It was so wonderful to hear your story and learn more about the journey towards the book’s creation. My copy is next to me and I’ll be diving in to learn and hopefully put some things into practice for TPC!

There are some truly amazing people in there – even in the editing stages, I was still going ”gosh I had forgotten that – wow” with some of them. I hope you manage to meet any of them or hear the q and a so you can put faces to stories – there were a lot of camera-shy ones hiding out there!
-
I’ll certainly be looking to connect with them as I go through the book!

Just signed up! Can’t wait to get professional help to ”bring out the silly in me”, although I’m a bit worried I might then require help to put it back in. Looking forward to it.

Stephanie Dotto posted in the group The Community
Hi everyone! I’m writing an article on the best productivity tools and I’d love to hear what people in the community find useful. Is there a particular app/tool you use to help you stay focused and get things done? I’m personally a big fan of Trello for keeping my tasks organised. Feel free to share anything that helps you stay focused/motivated/organised/inspired!

Sheetgo – for automating spreadsheet tasks
Gorgias.io – for emails
Calendly – scheduling
tools.guanxi.ai – for data cleanup (biased as this is a pet project)
Audible & Udemy – with 2x speed for fast mobile learning 🙂
Looking forward to seeing your list!

Currently playing with Notion.so – finding it amazing and baffling in equal measures

Nicola Twiston Davies recommended Focus Me which joins you up with others in an accountability hour where you work alongside one another for 50 mins to achieve your set goal/task. Sounds brilliant!
-
I’ve recently downloaded Daylio which is a habit/mood tracker, you can create folders of habits you want to create and then check off the ones you’ve achieved each day. I’ve started using it for work goals aswell and its been really useful!

I really like Forest – it’s an app that is the Pomodoro technique but you plant trees and it’s very satisfying. Then I have used Evernote and am playing around with Notion
