Hi everyone, I’d love to share with you all an article I’ve written on why weirdness is a superpower for brands. Its a concept I champion through the work I do! This may be helpful for anyone just starting their own business.

I love your Strange Manifesto. I created the Hughes Family Absurdist Manifesto for my family but now feel inspired to have one for my business!

If anyone wants feedback on your profile page, I am happy to provide it. Just complete each section until they do a half decent job of telling your story, then ping me. I am happy to help. Also if you have any questions about what makes a good profile, just ask. Great to see so many profiles being built 🙂

To follow on from out recent Branding module, i thought i share a site i found for logos: https://www.logoground.com What i really like about this one is that you can connect with the logo designer and have them adapt the logo however you want for no extra charge. A friend of mine recently found a style she absolutely loved, and asked the designer to change the rhino picture into a dog and a cat, and sent him a specific colour palette she wanted, etc, and she has a logo in all the formats within 2days. I know some are a bit pricey, but even if just for inspiration and ideas, i thought i share this with my new community here 😀 Enjoy

Hey All,
thought id share this with you, might be useful and time saving for some – it took me quite a while to find out where i can edit my linkedin settings so that my contacts are not notified every time i make a change to my linkedin.
how to:
click on your small profile photo in the top right corner > under Account go to Settings and privacy > click on Visibility and go to ’Visibility of your LinkedIn activity’ > then its under ’Share job changes, education changes, and work anniversaries from profile’ > turn off

I love this article Alex! Thanks for sharing. I completely agree that being authentic and real is how people will relate to you and your offering. Sometimes (with how social media plays in our lives) we hide behind a facade of how we think we should portray ourselves. For anyone still trying to work out their brand – I highly recommend a call with Alex Pitt!
