This is another favourite of mine from Croatia. This red wine is from the Benvenuti Vineyard in the Istrian Region. It is a cuvee of Teran, Nebbiolo, Tempranillo and Merlot. Very smooth and drinkable.

In around 4 weeks, along with 7 others, I am off to Yukon River to canoe 700km in 7days totally unsupported. We will depart from Whitehorse and finish at Dawson City. What makes this all the more remarkable is that 5 of the team have life changing injuries from their military service. The expedition is fully self funded through generous donations. Any monies now raised will go toward Combat Stress (https://combatstress.org.uk/), SSAFA (https://www.ssafa.org.uk/) and the Grenadier Guards Charity. Please support us if you can.

• 3 years agoThe Malvazija grape indigenous to Croatia. Grown in the Istrian region. In my humble opinion very similar to the Viognier grape in style and taste…but better…
